England cricket team have collapsed during their test series white- wash in Pakistan.
England’s test side seem to be heading towards losing their number one test side title due to there shocking white-wash to an amazing spin bowling unit in Pakistan.
Most of England’s consistent players with the bat seemed to be off form as the side lost many wickets without getting a decent amount of runs.
Everything was going Pakistan’s way until they got to the final test match when spin bowler, Monty Panesar, claimed the match ball when he got his fifer in the first test series back from a long time out of the England line up.
Although England’s test side are in doubt, One Day International (ODI) captain, Alistar Cook, is keeping his form up during there ODI series with Pakistan. Now, team-mate Kevin Pietersen has shown the England team his full potential with the bat.
Tom C from Woodhall Spa said, “I don’t think it’s anything to do with the squad. I just think it was a bad series for the team. I cant see the difference between the test and the ODI side because there is probably only one player difference.”
Overall England’s number one status is in jeopardy due to there performance, however, all the upcoming talent is looking good for the future for England cricket.

i like cricket
very good alfie i think your right about it
I personally completely disagree. For me England are still the best side in world cricket. The media made too much I Ajmal after his 7 wickets in Dubai and he must have felt like god. He is not as good as everyone is making him out as, he’s just different to other off-spinners as he bowls the doosra. The real test will be when England face South Africa in the summer, facing bowlers like Steyn, Morkel and even Philander, although he’s is new to test cricket, he is still a real talent. For me this series was all about England’s confidence and when the media seems to be against England, they were also making it seem like Ajmal was the next Muralitharan. England should consider this to be just a slip up and that they are still the best side in world cricket today.
fab article Alfie
well done!
I don’t take much interest in cricket, not my type of sport. Are England honestly the best team in the world at cricket?
