Famous Poet at Burgh

It’s always a special day when a famous poet or author visits school. The pupils of St Peter and St Paul Primary School, Burgh-le-Marsh were really thrilled when Brian Moses joined them for the day. Brian was commissioned to write a poem for the Queen’s 80th birthday!

Year 6 Chloe is a member of the Young Journalist Academy so, as you would expect, she was quick to pounce with her audio recorder!

Well done Chloe – it seems like you really enjoyed the experience. Your interview sounds like a ‘chat’, which is brilliant, and I can imagine a big smile on your face.
The school will have its own voice recorders from next week, so there will be no stopping you and the team now!
